Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Stay Autonomous website, to calls you book with us, and to the texts and emails we send. Stay Autonomous sets up websites, AI and customer follow-up systems for contractors and local businesses. By using the website or booking a call, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Using the website

Use the website lawfully, and give accurate information in forms and bookings.
Don't try to break, overload or misuse the website, its forms or the booking calendar.
The demo and the calculator are examples. The demo business is made up and its replies are simulated in your browser. The calculator gives an estimate from the numbers you enter, not a promise of results.

2. Booking a call

When you book a call, we send a confirmation and reminders by email, and by text if you agreed to texts. If you need to reschedule or cancel, use the link in your confirmation or contact us.

3. Text messages

Stay Autonomous sends text messages about calls and services you request: booking confirmations, reminders and replies to your questions. If you also check the separate marketing box, we may send occasional updates and offers.

We send texts only to people who check the separate text-message consent box on our forms. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

4. Our services

Work for a client is covered by a written proposal or agreement that sets out the scope, price, timing, payment and cancellation terms. If it conflicts with these terms, the written agreement applies.
Some services rely on outside software, phone carriers and ad platforms that have their own fees, approval steps and rules. For example, business texting has to be registered with the carriers before it can start. We explain these before you decide, but we don't control their decisions or outages.
The AI assistants we set up say they're automated and answer from information you approve. They can still make mistakes, so they hand anything they can't answer to a person.
We don't promise specific results, revenue or response times.

5. If you're a client

Give us accurate business information and the access we need. We ask you to add us as a user on your accounts; never send us passwords by text or email.
Only contact people who have agreed to hear from your business, and follow the texting, calling and email rules that apply to it. We add the consent wording your forms need and explain the rules as we set things up.
Review the messages and answers your systems will use before they go live.

6. Our content

The text, design, logo and demos on this website belong to Stay Autonomous. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written permission. Who owns the work we create for a client is set out in that client's agreement.

7. Other websites and services

Our website may link to other websites, and some features, such as booking, run on services provided by others. We're not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their policies.

8. Disclaimers and limits

The website is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, Stay Autonomous is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the website or our messages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can't be limited.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
